The metal community lost another great this past week. Former Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds tragically passed away after a motorcycle accident in Atlanta, GA. You can read more about it here.

New Music Recommendations

Indigenous atmospheric black metal solo project, Blackbraid, has released his third masterpiece. “Blackbraid III” is a more direct and ferocious record than the last two albums, but does not compromise at all on that signature Blackbraid sound. Give this a spin if you want to lower the temperature outside to frostbitten levels. FFO: Deafheaven, Imperial Triumphant, Abigail Williams, Spectral Wound.
