New Music Recommendations

Baltimore’s most eccentric rap icon, JPEGMAFIA, released his new record I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU back on August 1st. Experimental Hip Hop can go in a lot of different directions and honestly I think JPEGMAFIA does it best. His ability to do things like sample people’s voices from interviews, commercials, etc…and turn them into melodies is unlike anyone else in the genre. There is a surprisingly low amount of features on this record, but the two features from Vince Staples and Denzel Curry are executed perfectly.
